We often look at cultural appropriation in the contexts of fashion, art and spirituality, where the consequences are not serious or life threatening. We as a country are yet to understand the line in using Te Ao Maori, and that becomes evident once looking at the comments. At what point does it become go from appreciating to appropriating?
